Dolomite Alps
The 26th June 2009 the World Heritage Committee has officially entered the Dolomites mountains to the list of UNESCO Universal Heritage of Humanity. The area covers approximately 135.000 hectare (over 500 square miles) and owes its membership among the world heritage to its geological history of origin, unrivaled in the Alps, and its extraordinary beauty and scenery.

S. Caterina parish church
This church has been constructed in late Gothic style. In the interior there are numerous precious frescos, including the oldest painting which shows S. Caterina.

The Nature Park House
The Nature Park House of Fanes-Sennes-Prags in St. Vigil in Enneberg in Alta Badia show at the visitors are informations about the formation of the Dolomites, fossils, pastures and the cave bear of Conturines.

MuseumLadin
The way through the museum focuses on some significant aspects of the present and past lives of the Dolomite Ladins, highlighting the landscape forms and lifestyles.

Dolfi Land
The South Tyrol first world of woodcarvings in St. Ulrich/Gröden Tal. The museum will present a few valuable examples of Gardena wood carvings from earlier times, including representational art, religious figures, and secular works.

Museum of Folk Traditions
The Museum of Folk Art in Dietenheim by Bruneck opened in 1976. It is spread out over 3 hectares of land and contains about two dozen structures. These buildings show a variety of forms and structures, which indicate the role and social status of rural population.

Prettau Mine & Climate Shaft
Since 1440 a.D., copper was mined at Rötbach and smelted at the Ahrntal Valley. In 1893, mining was suspended. The interior of the St. Ignaz Mine offers tours via a mine train.
